Amway or SCAMWAY 4Life??

**Post Note** This blog isn't making fun of or putting down any market companies out there. This is only based on MY opinion alone and my OWN experiences from these very own companies. Anyone wanting to try any of these companies are more then welcome to, for anyone can make anything work with TIME and MOTIVATION ***
Lately I've been waking up around 12 noon or 1 in the afternoon. You know how those long hours of summer can be, but anyways I tried to make it a goal today to wake up at 10:30 in the morning. Unfortunatley that didn't work and instead I woke up at 11:45 A.M. Still earlier then what my "normal" wake up times have been. So I wake up, go downstairs and I see a presentation going on in the living room. In my mind, I'm wondering, 'What in the world is going on here? Is this an Amway Representative?'
Now just keep in mind, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with Amway. They have a very good structured system going which have helped thousands of people in the world, BUT i will say this. I have been in that structured sytem since Christmas of '09' and i have NOT seen a penny to my name. When i first saw the system and the whole lot of it, I thought to myself how easy this would be, but I guess that's easier THOUGHT then DONE. Amway wasn't a bad experience for me. It actually was a great experience. I met alot of people and the conventions were so inspirational. It made me feel like I can do almost anything in the world. Of course, when you do enter into reality, you find out that people in this day in age are not nice.
The Representative in my living room was not an Amway Representative. She was a 4Life Representative. She was explaining the many aspects of the company and how it could benefit your life. So in other words, how one can go from RAGS to Riches being in this company.
She did try explaining the system to me, but all I could understand were the words PRODUCTS, MONEY, and TIME. Almost the same exact words that my Amway Representative said to me. I do admit, she did have a complete different flavor to her then my rep. She wasn't afraid to laugh, and joke around, and almost act.... well... normal. She made a convincing speech about her company, but when i asked her how different this company is from Amway, there really wasn't a difference at all. The only difference was the price to join. In reality, it's all the same thing. Join a company, go to meetings, show the plan, sign people up, make money. That's the circle of life in a business.
So what's my advice to those in desperate need of money?? If you have the TIME, and the MOTIVATION to be in a company like this, then by all means do it.
BUT, if you know you have other plans in life, like let's say you want to go to school for Medical or Film. Why not? Don't join a company that doesn't give you any guarantee of seeing any money.
No matter what in life, one has to work for where ever they want to end up.

  1. Very interesting insight. Now, something has called my attention, you said that during your time in Amway you didn't see a penny to your name, how was that? Did you move volume? did you sponsor anyone and helped them move their volume and sponsor others as well? I can tell you that going to meetings and conventions doesn't pay you, that's your education to become a professional in the industry, to learn about relationships and mainly to increase your EI (Emotional Inteligence). But like you said, everything requires work. Like going to medical school, you do not get paid for getting educated, you pay to obtain that education, you get paid when you become a professional and are able to help others. Same here, different industry. So if you did work meaning, you moved volume, sponsored others and taught them to do the same, and you didn't receive a penny as the promised and agreed on Amaway's contract, why aren't you going after them? Scamway???? A scam doesn't last 53 years and it doesn't have an A+ rating with the BBB. This comment is not only my opinion, but my experience and it is backed up with facts. I have been in this industry for the past two years, for one year I didn't do much, moved some volume here and there, and went to all events and conferences, I did see money form the get go according to the amount of work I put at the time. This year we decided to really do it, and we qualified gold distributor and are about to be Platinum, and BELIEVE ME, there is money, your work is rewarded.

  2. Just as someone who isn't in 4life but a consumer of the products. the representatives don't just sell the products they also consume the products. Ask them and they will tell you their favorite ones and the one they use most of the time. Other companies don't require this but 4life does so they have valid information based on experience with the products.
