Amway or SCAMWAY 4Life??

**Post Note** This blog isn't making fun of or putting down any market companies out there. This is only based on MY opinion alone and my OWN experiences from these very own companies. Anyone wanting to try any of these companies are more then welcome to, for anyone can make anything work with TIME and MOTIVATION ***
Lately I've been waking up around 12 noon or 1 in the afternoon. You know how those long hours of summer can be, but anyways I tried to make it a goal today to wake up at 10:30 in the morning. Unfortunatley that didn't work and instead I woke up at 11:45 A.M. Still earlier then what my "normal" wake up times have been. So I wake up, go downstairs and I see a presentation going on in the living room. In my mind, I'm wondering, 'What in the world is going on here? Is this an Amway Representative?'
Now just keep in mind, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with Amway. They have a very good structured system going which have helped thousands of people in the world, BUT i will say this. I have been in that structured sytem since Christmas of '09' and i have NOT seen a penny to my name. When i first saw the system and the whole lot of it, I thought to myself how easy this would be, but I guess that's easier THOUGHT then DONE. Amway wasn't a bad experience for me. It actually was a great experience. I met alot of people and the conventions were so inspirational. It made me feel like I can do almost anything in the world. Of course, when you do enter into reality, you find out that people in this day in age are not nice.
The Representative in my living room was not an Amway Representative. She was a 4Life Representative. She was explaining the many aspects of the company and how it could benefit your life. So in other words, how one can go from RAGS to Riches being in this company.
She did try explaining the system to me, but all I could understand were the words PRODUCTS, MONEY, and TIME. Almost the same exact words that my Amway Representative said to me. I do admit, she did have a complete different flavor to her then my rep. She wasn't afraid to laugh, and joke around, and almost act.... well... normal. She made a convincing speech about her company, but when i asked her how different this company is from Amway, there really wasn't a difference at all. The only difference was the price to join. In reality, it's all the same thing. Join a company, go to meetings, show the plan, sign people up, make money. That's the circle of life in a business.
So what's my advice to those in desperate need of money?? If you have the TIME, and the MOTIVATION to be in a company like this, then by all means do it.
BUT, if you know you have other plans in life, like let's say you want to go to school for Medical or Film. Why not? Don't join a company that doesn't give you any guarantee of seeing any money.
No matter what in life, one has to work for where ever they want to end up.

Dissappointed

After going to bed late, you think you'll still be able to get the full 8 hours of rest needed to survive, but then your phone starts ringing. You don't answer it the first time cause you think that person might get the hint that you're not available. 5 minutes later of what thought to be ever lasting peace, the phone rings. Again. So you pick it up realizing that sleep as of this point is not an option.
10 minutes go by when you finally realize something more important. PAY DAY!!! As soon as you get off the phone you rush to your computer, and you log into your bank account. From what started off you looking like a kid desperate for candy, turned into nothing but a huge dissappointment. $36 dollars was put into your account from your job. At this point you wanna scream WTF!!
What I don't understand about jobs nowadays is that when they first hire you, they have all the hours in the world, but isn't it odd that after a couple of months of pure sweat, and having to soak your feet in hot water for hours, your hours begin to drop dramatically. You take one week off for vacation, and your job suddenly begins to think you can't handle alot of hours.
In these times, one can't survive with $250 bucks every 2 weeks, so what in the world is $36 bucks gonna get you??
A little advice to all those looking for work. MAKE SURE the job will give you sufficient hours. Anything below $350 every 2 weeks is UNACCEPTABLE. If anything it's even selfish. You're putting your time, hard work of pure blood and sweat into trying to make your job look good, while they can scam you on your hours. It's time for employees to take a stand. Let them know your a hard working employee, and without you, their stat numbers would be alot lower then it is now.
Here's advice to all those jobs looking to hire a position. Make sure you can afford to hire someone, before deciding to put a "HELP WANTED" sign on your front step. If you already have more then 20 different employees working practically the same shift, then why keep hiring someone. You have more then enough people helping you out on one position that if you have extra hours, give it to someone that needs it the most.
